Marriott Bonvoy Escapes is Marriott’s rolling last-minute deal, and this round is a good one: 20% off the standard room rate for Bonvoy members (15% for non-members) at thousands of participating hotels, Canada included. Book by Sunday, November 8, 2026 using promo code QRI, for weekend stays (Thursday–Sunday nights) between November 15 and 29, 2026. Resorts accept the rate any day of the week.
Bonvoy membership is free, so the real price of this deal is the 20% member rate — never book the 15% non-member version. Escapes rounds refresh every week, but the late-November window is the sweet spot: it covers U.S. Thanksgiving travel and the quiet pre-Christmas weekends when Canadian city hotels are at their cheapest of the season.
The dates that matter

The discount comes off the standard (flexible) rate, so compare carefully: at some hotels a prepaid advance-purchase rate is already cheaper than 20% off standard — at others, especially downtown properties in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary on event weekends, Escapes is the best price on the board.
The exclusions are the luxury flags: St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, EDITION, Bulgari and Design Hotels don’t participate, and neither do Homes & Villas. Everything else in the Marriott family — from Fairfield and Courtyard up to JW Marriott and the Autograph Collection — is potentially in play, property by property.
The practical math: a $220 standard-rate night in downtown Toronto drops to $176 — $132 saved over a three-night weekend, on dates you’d actually want to travel. Stack that with a Bonvoy account earning points on the stay and it’s a genuinely strong rate for November.

What to check before you book
- Certainty of dates. Non-refundable means non-refundable. If there’s any chance the trip moves, the flexible rate may be worth more than the discount.
- Compare against the member advance-purchase rate at the same hotel — sometimes it’s within a few dollars and slightly less restrictive.
- Property participation varies. If your hotel doesn’t show the QRI rate, it isn’t in this round — check the same brand one neighbourhood over before settling.
