✓ Verified November 5, 2026. We find and share travel deals — we don’t sell them and we can’t guarantee prices or availability. Seat sales end on schedule and the cheapest fares sell out first: always check the official booking link for the current price before you plan around it. Deal confirmed live on WestJet’s official Member Exclusive deals page.

WestJet is running a Member Exclusive sale with up to 35% off base fares to sun destinations — and it ends almost as soon as it started. Book by November 6, 2026 (11:59 p.m. MT) for travel from November 9, 2026 through July 30, 2027. WestJet says 2,000,000 seats are on sale, and there are no blackout dates.

The catch is in the name: the discount only appears on fares labelled “Member Exclusive”, and you only see them when you’re signed in with a WestJet Rewards ID. Membership is free to join, so this isn’t an elite-status gate — it’s a sign-in gate. If you search as a guest, you’ll see regular fares and miss the sale entirely.

The dates that matter

  • Book by November 6, 2026, 11:59 p.m. MT. That is tomorrow night — this is a two-day sale window, not a two-week one.
  • Travel November 9, 2026 – July 30, 2027. An unusually long travel window: it covers the Christmas rush, spring break and the start of next summer.
  • No blackout dates. Even peak holiday dates are eligible, though the lowest Member Exclusive fares on those dates will go first.

Where the 35% applies

The sale covers WestJet-operated flights between Canada and Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America — think Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Montego Bay, Punta Cana and Liberia. Codeshare and interline flights are excluded. The discount applies to the base fare in Economy, Premium and Business cabins; taxes and airport fees are not discounted, which is normal for seat sales. The offer can’t be combined with a discount code or a companion voucher.

Realistic expectations: “up to 35%” is the ceiling, not the average. Shoulder-season dates to Mexico in January or May are where the deepest cuts usually sit. On a $450 base fare to Cancun, a full 35% would save about $157 per person — real money on a couple’s winter escape, and worth the two minutes it takes to join WestJet Rewards if you’re not already a member.

How to book it

Join or sign in to WestJet Rewards first, then search your route on westjet.com and look for fares flagged Member Exclusive in the results. Compare the Member Exclusive fare against the regular Econo fare on the same flight — the gap is your actual saving. Book before the November 6 deadline; the sale price disappears at midnight Mountain Time whether or not seats remain.

What to check before you book

  • Fare class rules. The cheapest Member Exclusive fares may be Econo or UltraBasic with change fees or no changes at all. If your dates might move, price the Flex fare before you commit.
  • Base fare vs total price. On short or cheap routes, taxes and fees can be half the ticket — a 35% base-fare cut may be a ~20% cut on the total. Still good, just do the math on the final number.
  • Don’t wait for a better round. WestJet runs sun sales through the winter, but rarely with a travel window this long and no blackouts. If the fare fits your dates, book it.

Canada Visitor Hub finds and shares deals; we don’t sell travel and earn nothing from this link. Prices and availability were accurate when verified on November 5, 2026 and can change or sell out at any time — the official WestJet page is the final word.
